 CONGRATULATIONS!
To the winners of the 2010
Master Garlic Chef Competition...
The results are in, and it was a close competition! As always, the judges had a challenging task as they sampled the 3 finalists' culinary creations on Day II of the Festival.  When their decisions were finally made, Gina Myhill-Jones of 100 Mile House, BC emerged as the 2010 Master Garlic Chef with her Garlic Shrimp Wonton Soup.
Marc Stucki's Beef Wellington came in a close second, followed by Kathleen Daniels' Creamy Garlic Broccoli Salad.
This was the 4th annual Master Garlic Chef Competition and we had a record number of recipe entries this year. The folks in the "audience" were entertained by the preparation of the dishes and the judging. Jeanette McCrea of the Lac La Hache Community Club (and Festival Director) kept the crowd informed and entertained as the event took place.
